
From professional ballet/ jazz dancer & child actress to registered nurse, homemaker & mom, Jan's pursuit of health & fitness for herself & the rest of the world seems to be her calling. She has been an industry icon & inspiration for dance & fitness instruction for over 30 years as a teacher & master trainer for most fitness formats for all ages including ZUMBA, Yoga, & Pilates. With an added PhD in Public Health, Jan is more than qualified to own & direct "People's Yoga, Health & Dance". This studio is unique in that we really care about your health!
Jan Kain is the the owner/director of PEOPLE'S YOGA, HEALTH & DANCE studio. Our motto is, "Fun With Benefits", & to me, that's what fitness is all about. Our mission is to help people get fit & healthy while having fun, so it's not a chore, but rather an enjoyable way of life. At PEOPLE'S YOGA, HEALTH & DANCE, our goal is to serve as much of the community as possible, regardless of age or ability to pay. As a Registered Nurse with a PhD in Public Health, I am fully aware of the importance of a fit & healthy lifestyle beginning before conception. The type of fitness training offered at People's Studio is aimed at fun but at the same time, captures the total body benefit theory. I call it "fun"ctional training because it prepares both mind & body for other activities you enjoy or need to do for daily life.
